Computer mouse clicks through Fablehaven’s tales
At 7:37 pm in fall’s embrace,
Warm and overcast, October’s face.
Through Providence, a Toyota Prius rides,
Along the roads where oceans meet the tides.
A taste of Tamarindo remains still,
Salted caramel drizzled sands; littered boatbills--
Camera in hand at UCLA,
Chasing dolphins where Neptune throws his weight.
A Tangerine horizon lights the way,
Industrial revolution thoughts at bay.
Oregano scents mix with steak’s delight,
A lone sock rests in the dimming light.
Lids open, Earth rotates, 40.7128° N, 74.0060° W, “Where Next?”
